Atrazine is a systemic selective pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide. Mainly absorbed by roots, little absorption by stems and leaves, quickly transmitted to plant meristems and leaves, interferes with photosynthesis, and kills weeds. In corn and other resistant crops, it is decomposed by corn ketone enzyme to produce non-toxic substances, so it is safe for crops. Atrazine has high water solubility, is more mobile in the soil than simazine, and can be easily washed to a deeper layer by rain, which can inhibit some deep-rooted weeds and can be decomposed by microorganisms in the soil. Factors such as medication dosage and soil texture can affect up to half a year. It is suitable for controlling annual and biennial broad-leaved weeds and monocotyledonous weeds in corn, sorghum, woodland, grassland, sugarcane, etc.
