ERYTHROMYCIN THIOCYANATE

Name: ERYTHROMYCIN THIOCYANATE CAS: 7704-67-8 Feature: ERYTHROMYCIN THIOCYANATE is a macrolide antibiotic produced by actinomycete Streptomyces erythreus with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity. ERYTHROMYCIN THIOCYANATE acts by binding to bacterial 50S ribosomal subunits and inhibits RNA-dependent protein synthesis by blockage of transpeptidation and/or translocation reactions, without affecting synthesis of nucleic acid. ERYTHROMYCIN THIOCYANATE inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to bacterial 50S ribosomal subunits and inhibits peptidyl transferase activity and interferes with translocation of amino acids during translation and assembly of proteins. ERYTHROMYCIN THIOCYANATE has the following applications/functions: 1. When erythromycin thiocyanate is used as a veterinary drug, it is used to treat gram-positive bacteria and protoplasmic infections. It has been widely used as an "animal growth promoter" in foreign countries, and it is listed as my country's four major export veterinary antibiotic products along with tylosin, tetracycline hydrochloride and oxytetracycline. 2. ERYTHROMYCIN THIOCYANATE is also an important intermediate for the synthesis of mainstream macrolide antibiotic products erythromycin, roxithromycin, azithromycin and clarithromycin. 3. The antibacterial spectrum of erythromycin thiocyanate is similar to that of benzyl penicillin, and it has a strong effect on Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, and pneumococcus among Gram-positive bacteria. It also has a certain effect on Pasteurella and Brucella in Gram-negative bacteria. 4. ERYTHROMYCIN THIOCYANATE is mainly used to treat infections caused by penicillin-resistant Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, etc. Composition:  Appearance: White powder Packing: 25kg/drum or as discussed Shelf Life: 2 years Storage: Store in cool and dry area Certification:ISO GMP KOSHER HALAL
