The molecular formula of N- [3-(Isodecyloxy) propyl] propane- 1,3-diamine is C16H36N2O and the molecular weight is 272.46984. Its density is 0.873 g/cm 3 . N- [3-(Isodecyloxy) propyl] propane- 1,3-diamine is soluble in water, ethanol, and 2-propanol. Contact with it may irritate skin, eyes and mucous membranes. It may be toxic if ingested, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. N- [3-(Isodecyloxy) propyl] propane- 1,3-diamine is used in the manufacture of other chemicals.

5. N-[3-(Isodecyloxy)propyl]propane-1,3-diamine has high surface activity, which can effectively reduce the surface tension of liquids. And the double electron layer is arranged on the surface of the liquid film to surround the air to form bubbles, and then a single bubble constitutes a foam. Therefore, N- [3-(Isodecyloxy) propyl] propane-1,3-diamine can be used as textile foaming agents.
