Ammonium molybdate ——Improve the quality and yield of crops.

As a trace element fertilizer, ammonium molybdate has been widely used at home and abroad in recent years. It can significantly improve the quality and yield of beans, forages and other crops. This is mainly to promote the biological nitrogen fixation of nitrogen fixing rhizobia such as molybdenum in the air and further transform them into nitrogen proteins required by plants. Molybdenum can also promote the absorption of phosphorus by plants and its role in plants. Molybdenum can also promote the formation and transformation of plant sugar, improve the content and stability of plant chlorophyll, and increase the content of vitamin C. Moreover, molybdenum also improved the cold tolerance and drought resistance of plants.

Agricultural use of ammonium molybdate

1. Ammonium molybdate can be used as base fertilizer because molybdenum fertilizer (or industrial waste residue containing molybdenum) can be transformed into molybdenum containing calcium superphosphate after processing with ordinary calcium superphosphate.

2.Ammonium molybdate can be used for seed dressing or seed soaking, which can improve the germination rate of seeds.

3.When the crops enter the seedling stage to the budding stage, ammonium molybdate can be used for extra root topdressing, which can promote the growth of crops.

Dosage and application method of ammonium molybdate

1.As base fertilizer: The dosage per mu is generally 0.01-0.1kg. Before use, it can be mixed with calcium superphosphate to form “molybdenum superphosphate” (or mixed with potassium fertilizer and boron fertilizer), and then applied to the soil

2. As seed fertilizer: During seed dressing, 1g ammonium molybdate can be used for every 0.5kg of seeds. The seed dressing method is to fertilize the molybdenum with a small amount of hot water at 50 ° C, and then dilute the fertilizer solution with cold water (the use amount of cold water should be able to make the fertilizer solution reach about 50g), spray the fertilizer solution on the seeds after dilution, and mix the seeds while spraying. Finally, the seeds can be sown after being mixed and dried; When soaking seeds, the seeds can be soaked in 1000-2000 times ammonium molybdate solution for 6-20 hours, and then the seeds can be sown after drying.

3. Foliar spraying: Dilute ammonium molybdate to 1000-2000 times solution, and then spray it 2-3 times at seedling stage or before flowering (with an interval of 7-10 days each time); If the crops planted are legumes, spraying should be carried out before the flowering and pod setting stage, because the flowering and pod setting stage is the critical period of molybdenum demand of legumes.

Precautions for using ammonium molybdate

1.When ammonium molybdate is used for seed soaking or seed dressing, it can only be used after the seeds are dried in the shade; If pesticides need to be mixed during use, the seeds must be fertilized first, and the drugs can be mixed only after the seeds are dried in the shade.

2.When used as foliar spraying, every 25 grams of ammonium molybdate can be mixed with 100 kg of water.
