Application and Attention of Common Plant Growth Regulators: IBA

Plant growth regulators are artificially synthesized and extracted exogenous substances with physiological activity of plant hormones.

Indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) The dosage form is mostly powder. It is non-toxic to humans and animals and easily degrades in soil.

 IBA K

It is widely used in production as a rooting agent, which can promote the rooting of cuttings, induce the formation of adventitious roots, and improve the survival rate of transplantation. Due to its difficulty in movement, dipping and soaking the insertion strip are often used. Commonly mixed with naphthylacetic acid, the former increases the number of adventitious roots, while the latter promotes root thickening.

Note:

1. When handling cuttings, do not contaminate the leaves and heart leaves.

2. Indole-3-butyric acid is easily decomposed under light and requires black packaging, and should not be stored for a long time.
