For the prevention and control of wild bean borer, during the beginning of the flowering period of cowpea and kidney bean, spray 100-150 ml of 35% thiophos-phos per acre with 40-60 kg of water. Control underground pests: For the prevention and control of grubs, mole crickets and golden needle worms in vegetable fields with large seeds, use 125 ml of 35% phosalone missible oil per acre to dilute with 5 kg of water, spray and mix them into 50 kg of seeds, dry them, and sow. To prevent and control grubs in corn, soybean, peanut and leguminous vegetable fields, 2-2.5kg of 5% poisonous sand (1000ml of 35% phosalone missible oil, diluted with 1kg of water and evenly mixed with 10kg of dry sand) shall be used per mu, and sown with the seeds during crop sowing. To prevent and control grubs and root maggots, irrigate roots with 1000-2000 times solution of 35% phosalone missible oil, and irrigate the roots with 250-300 kg of liquid per acre. When the soil moisture is insufficient, the roots can be irrigated with 4000 times solution of 35% phosalone missible oil, and the amount of irrigated liquid per acre will be doubled.
