Abamectin EC has stomach toxicity, contact killing effect and endosmosis

According to the Chinese pesticide toxicity classification standard, abamectin is a highly toxic pesticide. Abamectin pesticides will not do any harm to plants as long as they pay attention to their concentration. Abamectin EC is a kind of acute oral poisoning with low toxicity through skin. Within the range of common doses, it is safe for humans and livestock, birds and natural enemies of pests, but it is highly toxic to fish, shrimp, bees and other organisms. The chemicals sprayed on the plant surface can quickly decompose and become ineffective (except those penetrating into the leaf surface). When applied into the soil, they will be adsorbed and fixed, decomposed by microorganisms, easy to degrade in water, have no cumulative effect in organisms and the environment, and will not cause pollution.

Action characteristics of Abamectin

Abamectin has stomach toxicity and contact killing effect on mites and insects, and can not kill eggs. Abamectin sprayed on the leaf surface can decompose and dissipate rapidly, but the active components penetrating into the plant parenchyma can exist in the plant tissue for a long time and have conduction effect, which determines its long-term and residual effect on harmful mites and insects feeding in the plant tissue.

The mechanism of action of abamectin is different from that of general insecticides in that it interferes with neurophysiological activities and inhibits nerve conduction in arthropods. Adults, nymphs and insect larvae of mites become paralyzed after contact with abamectin, become inactive and do not feed, and die 2-4 days later. Because it does not cause rapid dehydration of insects, the lethal effect of abamectin is slow. Although abamectin has direct contact killing effect on predatory insects and parasitic natural enemies, it has little damage to beneficial insects because there is little residue on the plant surface.

Abamectin is adsorbed by soil, will not move, and is decomposed by microorganisms, so it has no cumulative effect in the environment and can be used as an integral part of comprehensive control. It is easy to prepare. The preparation can be poured into water and stirred slightly. It is also safer for crops. It will not cause drug damage if used according to the correct method.

Application method of Abamectin: 1. . Control of spider mites and rust mites: Spray with 1.8% abamectin EC 3000-5000 times liquid. 2. Prevention and control of pine caterpillars, American white moth, Yang Shuzhou moth and other leaf eating pests, the ground spray with 1.8% abamectin EC 6000-8000 times liquid, the aircraft spray per hectare using 1.8% abamectin EC 2-5ml, smoke machine spray 1.8%, abamectin EC and zero diesel by 1 to 40 ratio mixing.

Precautions for using abamectin: 1. Abamectin kills insects and mites slowly, and the peak of dead insects appears 3 days after application, but the pests and moths stop feeding and harming on the day of application. 2. Abamectin is highly toxic to fish. Therefore, when applying the medicine, do not pollute the rivers and ponds, and do not apply the medicine during the honey collecting period of bees.
