GA3——Broad spectrum plant growth regulators

GA3 (Gibberellin) is a broad-spectrum plant growth regulator, which can promote crop growth and development, make it mature early, improve yield and quality; It can replace low temperature to break the dormancy of seeds, tubers and bulbs and promote germination; it can replace long sunshine or low temperature to induce flowering; Induce Parthenocarpy and form seedless fruit; Reduce the shedding of buds, flowers, bolls and fruits, and improve the fruit bearing rate; Adjust the material transportation direction to transfer the material from the source to the warehouse, etc. One of the important ways of action of GA3(gibberellin) is to improve the activity of a variety of hydrolases, decompose a large number of storage substances and transport them to new organs for growth. Therefore, soaking seeds with GA3(gibberellin)  can promote seed germination.

GA3(gibberellin) is suitable for the following crops: cotton, tomato, potato, fruit tree, rice, wheat, soybean and tobacco to promote their growth, germination, flowering and fruiting; It can stimulate fruit growth, improve seed setting rate, and have significant yield increasing effect on cotton, vegetables, melons and fruits, rice, green fertilizer, etc. The most prominent physiological effect of GA3(gibberellin) is to promote stem elongation and induce bolting and flowering of long day plants under short day conditions. The sensitivity of various plants to Gibberellin is different. Genetically dwarf plants such as dwarf maize and pea are most sensitive to Gibberellin, and the plant type after gibberellin  treatment is similar to that of non dwarf plants; Non dwarf plants had only a slight response. Gibberellin plays a regulatory role in seed germination. Starch in the seeds of many cereal plants, such as barley, is rapidly hydrolyzed during germination; If the embryo is removed, the starch will not hydrolyze. Gibberellin can replace red light to promote the germination of light sensitive plant lettuce seeds and replace the vernalization required for carrot flowering.

Gibberellin can also cause the formation of unisexual fruits in some plants. or some plants, especially seedless grape varieties, Gibberellin Treatment during flowering can promote the development of seedless fruit. But it can sometimes inhibit some physiological phenomena. The most prominent function of gibberellin is to accelerate cell elongation (gibberellin can increase the content of auxin in plants, and auxin directly regulates cell elongation). It also promotes cell division. It can promote cell expansion (but does not cause acidification of cell wall). In addition, gibberellin can inhibit maturation, lateral bud dormancy and aging, Physiological function of tuber formation. Spraying gibberellin solution with a concentration of 25 ml / L for many times at flowering and young fruit stage can improve the fruit setting rate and significantly increase the yield.
