Sulfachloropyrazine Sodium‘s anti-coccidial activity peak period is the second generation schizont of coccidia, and also has a certain effect on the first generation schizont. But it has no effect on sexual cycles. The anticoccidial mechanism of this product is the same as sulfaquinoxaline. This product is very similar in nature to sulfamethoxazole. It is rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract after oral administration. The blood drug concentration reaches a peak in 3 to 4 hours and is quickly excreted through the urine.
use:
(1) The effect of poultry sulfachloropyrazine on poultry coccidia is similar to that of sulfaquinoxaline, and it has a stronger antibacterial effect. It can even treat poultry cholera and chicken typhoid fever, so it is most suitable for the treatment of coccidiosis .
Sulfachloropyrazine does not affect the host’s immunity to coccidia.
(2) Others This product is also quite effective against coccidiosis. When used, 600g of sulfachlorpyrazine sodium can be added per 1000kg of feed for 5 to 10 days.
For lamb coccidiosis, each 1kg body weight can be taken orally with 1.2mL of 3% solution for 3 to 5 days.
Precautions:
(1) Although the toxicity of this product is lower than that of sulfaquinoxaline, the symptoms of sulfa drug poisoning will still occur after long-term application. Therefore, broilers can only be used at the recommended concentration for 3 consecutive days, and may not exceed 5 days at most.
(2) In view of the fact that most farms in China have been using sulfonamides (such as SQ, SM2, etc.) for decades, coccidia may have developed resistance or even cross-resistance to sulfonamides. The phenomenon should be replaced in time.
(3) Laying hens and flocks over 16 weeks of age are prohibited.
(4) Withdrawal period, 4 days for turkey and 1 day for broiler.
