Zinc sulfate heptahydrate can be used as base fertilizer, topdressing and foliar fertilizer.

Zinc can enhance root activity, promote stem and leaf growth, enhance crop resistance, improve crop seed setting rate, fruit setting rate and yield, and promote the formation of auxin in plants. Zinc sulfate can prevent physiological diseases caused by zinc deficiency of crops, such as white seedlings of maize, grain deficiency and baldness, yellowing of wheat, uneven flowers and ears, shrinkage and compaction, small leaf disease, cluster leaf disease, malformed fruit and other zinc deficiency diseases of fruit trees. Zinc sulfateĀ  should be used in the evening and supplementary application is required in case of rain.

Function and efficacy of zinc sulfate heptahydrate

1. Zinc is an essential trace element for crop growth. It participates in the synthesis of auxin in crops, enhances root activity, promotes stem and leaf growth, enhances crop resistance, and improves crop seed setting rate, fruit setting rate and yield.

2.Zinc is a catalyst for redox in objects, which can promote cell respiration and auxin formation.

3.Zinc sulfate heptahydrate can control physiological diseases caused by zinc deficiency of crops, such as stiff seedlings, uneven heading and low seed setting rate of rice; Maize white seedling, lack of grain and bald head; Wheat yellowing, uneven flowers and panicles, atrophy and non fruiting; Soybeans and peanuts are white, falling flowers and buds; Small leaf disease, cluster leaf disease, abnormal fruit and other zinc deficiency diseases of fruit trees. Zinc sulfate heptahydrate can promote photosynthesis and protein synthesis, improve enzyme activity and carbohydrate conversion in crops, and improve crop quality.

4.Zinc sulfateĀ  contains sulfur and zinc, which can provide nutrients during crop growth. Zinc is a component of many enzymes, which can promote the formation of chlorophyll, protein and RNA in crops; Sulfur is an essential raw material for crops to synthesize nutrients such as amino acids, protein and cellulose. Zinc can promote the formation of auxin in crops, enhance the vitality of crop roots, promote the growth of crop stems and leaves, and improve the fruit rate. Zinc can promote the fixation of carbon dioxide in the process of photosynthesis, which is conducive to the utilization of nitrogen and phosphorus by crops. The use of zinc sulfate heptahydrate can also effectively prevent white seedlings, grain deficiency and baldness of maize; Stiff seedlings, uneven heading and low seed setting rate of rice; Wheat yellowing and uneven flowers and ears; Small leaf disease and cluster leaf disease of fruit trees.

Application method of zinc sulfate

1.Zinc sulfate is used as leaf fertilizer. The dosage is 100g zinc sulfate mixed with water to form a zinc sulfate solution with a concentration of 0.1% – 0.3%, which is evenly sprayed on the leaf surface of seedlings.

2. Zinc sulfate is used as base fertilizer and topdressing, with the dosage of 2-3kg per mu, mixed with 15-20kg dry fine soil, evenly sprinkled in the soil, ploughed or mixed with sufficient ammonia, phosphorus and potassium organic fertilizers, and the effect of on-site application is better.
